Cult wines – for most of us, wines at this level are something we can only hope to taste at some point in our lives. But what if you had the opportunity to try many at the same time, and even compare side-by-side?
El Gaucho Bellevue is giving you that chance at their upcoming POUR, Saturday, July 13th from 5:00-7:30pm. This signature event is going big this year by offering tasting tables of cult wine favorites, in addition to over 50 local wine favorites being poured. Many great wines from around the world will also be represented.
“I’m very excited about the new participating wineries, from a line-up of a large Italian portfolio including Masi Amarone, and Ornelaia, to France, featuring Jean luc Columbo Cornas,” exclaimed Wine Captain and Asst. General Manager Steve Smith. “Our California wines will include Duckhorn, Quintessa, The Prisoner, and many more. This is our most impressive showing of wines at POUR yet!”
Of course, there will be a lot of great food for guests to nibble between quaffs. Executive Chef John Broulette will be providing signature Gaucho bites and new creations, too. Taylor Shellfish will be shucking oysters, and Mt. Townsend Creamery will be sampling their cheeses. El Gaucho’s mobile kitchen, affectionately called “Beefy,” will be outside grilling up tasty concoctions for guests to enjoy.
Guests also have the opportunity to stay for “After POUR” and choose from one of four wine dinners, from: Chateau Ste. Michelle and Col Solare, DeLille Cellars, Ferrari-Carano Vineyards, and Sparkman Cellars.
You would think getting into an event like this might be exclusive, or “invite only,” but it’s open to anyone for just $85. Guests also have the option of joining us for a winemaker dinner alone, for only $125, or take advantage of both for just $150. Valet is complimentary for all attendees.
